How-to Find SEPP Guide

Follow the steps on the How to find your Student Education Plan Guide to locate the classes you and a counselor discussed for Fall 2020. These are the classes you look up in the Catalog & Schedule and register for.

Catalog & Schedule

Use the Catalog & Schedule to look up available classes.

  • Click on the yellow button “View Online Schedule” for an up-to-date schedule of Open, Waitlisted, and Closed classes. 
  • The Schedule book is a PDF of the classes offered in the Fall, with a message from President Schulz, Important Fall 2020 Dates, and resources.

How-to-Register Guide

Follow the steps on the How-To-Register Quick Guide to officially register for classes at Fullerton College.

Schedule Builder

Download the Schedule Builder to:

  • create an “ideal schedule” based on your Student Education Plan,
  • create a “Back-up Schedule”, and
  • outline what your week will look like.
    • What to include: work hours,    personal responsibilities,         study/homework time, etc.

Financial Aid and Fees


If you qualify for the two-year free Promise Program, do not pay for your enrollment and health fees.
You will not be dropped from your classes for leaving the balance.


If you have completed all Promise requirements and registered for 12* or more units (wait listed units do not count),
the North Orange Promise Fee Waiver will be applied to your account the first week of classes.

 

First-Year Students: Login to the First-Year Checklist and complete all steps to be eligible for the North Orange Promise.

* If you are receiving DSS Services (Disability Support Services), you may be able to enroll in less than 12 units as determined by a DSS counselor. 

If your “Financial Aid Information for New Students (2020/2021)” shows:

  • You are eligible for the two-years free Promise Program (once all checklist steps are completed and you are registered for 12 or more units).
  • You are ineligible for other financial aid based on your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as determined by your 2020/2021 Financial Aid.
  • Do not pay for the enrollment fees and health fee. These will be covered by the North Orange Promise Fee Waiver. You will not be dropped from your registered classes for leaving your fees. 
  • You are responsible for the $5.75 OCTA Fee and all other optional fees selected when you complete your registration.
  • You must complete all documents at VerifymyFAFSA to be eligible for the two-years free Promise Program.
  • Once your submitted verification documents are processed, you may be eligible for other financial aid based on your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as determined by your 2020/2021 Financial Aid.

  • You are eligible for the two-years free Promise Program (once all checklist steps are completed and you are registered for 12 or more units).
  • You are eligible for financial aid based on your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as determined by your 2020/2021 Financial Aid.
  • Do not pay for the enrollment fees and health fee. These fees will be covered by your financial aid awards. If you have a remaining balance, the rest of the enrollment fees and/or health fee will be covered by North Orange Promise Fee Waiver. You will not be dropped from your registered classes for leaving your fees. 
  • If not covered by your financial aid awards, you are responsible for the $5.75 OCTA Fee and all other optional fees selected when you complete your registration.
  • Please view the How Financial Aid gets to You flyer for more information about how and when you will recieve your financial aid money.
  • Fullerton College does not have a 2020/2021 financial aid application on file for you. 
  • You must complete a 2020/2021 financial aid application to be eligible for the North Orange Promise, even if you know that you do not qualify for financial aid. 
  • Complete a 2020/2021 FAFSA or CA Dream ACT application and list Fullerton College and any other schools you will be attending for the 2020/2021 school year.
  • Did you already complete a 2020/2021 financial aid application?
    • If you have already submitted a 2020/2021 financial aid application, login to your FAFSA or CA Dream ACT and check that Fullerton College (School Code: 001201) is list/ed. If it is not listed, make a correction and resubmit your application. 
    • If you have already submitted a 2020/2021 financial aid application and checked that Fullerton College is listed, please contact your Fullerton College Financial Aid technician.

Financial Aid Information for Continuing Students (2019-2020): Do I need to complete a 2019-2020 financial aid application?

  • If your first semester at Fullerton College is Summer 2020 or Fall 2020 (New Promise Student), you do not need to complete a 2019-2020 financial aid application.

     

  • If Fall 2019 or Spring 2020 was your first semester at Fullerton College (you are a continuing Promise Student), you must complete both 2019-2020 AND 2020-2021 financial aid applications to be eligible for the North Orange Promise. 

What happens if I already paid for my classes and/or health fee?


If you paid for your enrollment fees and you qualify for the two-year free Promise Program,  a refund will be processed once the North Orange Promise Fee Waiver is applied to your account. A refund is shown as a negative balance on your Schedule/Bill. 

 

If you are missing any Promise eligibility steps or are not registered for 12* or more units, the Fee Waiver will not be applied to your account until those are completed.

Student ID, and the fees you paid for so we can ensure a refund is processed.

If you are ineligible for financial aid, refunds are processed by the Bursars Office. A check and will be mailed to the home address Fullerton College has on file for the student in 8-10 weeks. View the address on file by: logging into MyGateway > Click on Webstar > Click on the “Personal Information” tab > Click on “Update Mailing Address and Phone”. 

If you are eligible for financial aid such as the Pell Grant, your refund will be processed as a larger deposit.

If you are receiving DSS Services (Disability Support Services), you may be able to enroll in less than 12 units as determined by a DSS counselor.
